Bead Necklace

Albuquerque, The Gallery at Round Top and The Asher Gallery

by Lyn Foley on November 22, 2008

We’re getting ready to drive to Albuquerque next week for The Rio Grande  Arts and Crafts Festival. The show runs the Friday, Saturday and Sunday right after Thanksgiving. That means we’ll set our booth up on Thanksgiving Day – and then enjoy turkey dinner at a local restaurant with some other artists who are in the same boat as us.  (And I won’t have to do dishes either!).  I know it will be a really nice show, so if any of you are in the neighborhood, come on over.

Shortly after we return from New Mexico. I’ll be having a two day show  and sale (December 12th and 13th) at The Gallery at Round Top.  They always have a selection of my pieces, but for those two days I’ll be there  with all of my jewelry.  I’m tucking away a few special pieces just for Round Top. This necklace is on the post card for the show. It’s already sold, but I’ve made two more that are similar, and really fun and spectacular.

Meanwhile, The Asher Gallery in the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft is now carrying my work.  So if you can’t get up to Round Top, but still need something for the holidays, or long for something I’ve made,  go on by the Asher Gallery. Here’s one of the necklaces  they have:
