A Sneak Peek for Cottonwood – and my soup design featured in a new book.

by Lyn Foley on October 1, 2012

I am working like crazy getting ready for Cottonwood which opens in just 6 days.  Be there early for the best selection at my booth – earrings especially seem to fly out quickly.

A week long blog hop book tour starts today for Lori Anderson’s book: Bead Soup: 32 Projects Show What Happens when 26 Beaders Swap Their Stash. I am one of the 26 featured designers. More details revealed in my October 4th blog. Lori will post a giveaway every day – and the rest of us desginers will giveaway something on our specific day. Leaving a comment on my blog today or October 4th will put you in the pot, and I’ll draw the winning name on October 9th.

This photo shows part of the Bead Soup I sent in for the book – animal print beads I made, plus others from my stash. My giveaway will be a set of animal print headpins similar to the ones I contributed for the soup. So, go ahead and comment, you may win!

OK, I am loving that blue disk necklace. You have talent running out of your ears, lady! I’ll drop by your booth at Cottonwood. Good Luck!

Lyn, OM Goodness – these are so beautiful! As always! Every time I wear the multi colored glass necklaces you made for me… I receive compliments & pass along your name! I hope to see you next time I am up to see my Aunt Charlotte Sterk. I would love to win some of the new beads! Sorry that I will miss the festival. I am stuck in my house with pneumonia!
Please take care – looking forward to catching up with you soon!

Hi Lyn!
Love the animal print beads, AND the beautiful necklace! In fact I love all my Lyn Foley jewelry I purchased from you at the last Cottonwood, so can’t wait to see your booth this weekend! Congratulations on your publication as well!

Those head pins are too cute!! And I love your use of materials in the necklace you made!

Kiwiken October 4, 2012 at 6:28 am

Weird, I usually don’t like animal prints, not in clothing anyway, but in beads they look awesome! The wavy glass discs in that necklace are even prettier <3

It is so much fun to see all you designers come together and the designs you make from others styles.
