Las Cruces, New Mexico Arts Fair

by Lyn Foley on March 1, 2013

Jim and I are getting ready for a  new show, the Las Cruces Arts Fair.  It will be inside the  Las Cruces, New Mexico, Convention Center from March 15th to March 17th.  We always enjoy our trips to  New Mexico, and are looking forward to sharing and selling our beautiful jewelry in a venue new to us. If you are near Las Cruces I hope you will attend the fair. If you do, please introduce yourself to us.

So far I have created twenty brand new necklaces. I’ll bring them, along with many others I’ve made since the end of 2012. (I’m not counting the earrings – I’ll have many, many pairs of those, not to worry.)

The shawl pins I took to Yarnorama just last week have already sold, so I’ll be making more!  18th Hands Gallery and The Gallery at Round Top  both need new stock. In the midst of this  bead making/jewelry making blitz, up-dating my web site photos hasn’t happened.  Therefore, if you have a hankering for something new from me before I update the site, or before I make it to your neck of the woods, do send me an e-mail. I’ll reply. My artistic life is busy, and I am filled with joy and excitement about my work. Your support keeps me doing what I love to do, and I thank you.

When I look up from I bench and out the window, I see a few bulbs peeking through the grass, and luebonnets just beginning to bloom. A pair of bluebirds have been flying around checking out their favorite nesting box just off our kitchen window, and the other birds are eating through seeds at our feeders at a fast clip. Signs of spring are in the air. Happy March to you!
