Ruidoso Art Festival is on the horizon

by Lyn Foley on July 11, 2013

The Ruidoso Art Festival in New Mexico opens July 26th at noon.  I’ll be in Booth #41, very nearly the same spot as last year. Hope to see you either Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

I love making ruffled flowers. Since I haven’t touched all the color combos yet, I’ve kept going and have have created a LARGE selection of ruffle style flower pendants. The single ones, lovely and simple, sell for just $29, and come on a silver-filled chain. My larger glass ruffle flowers are set on copper, brass or silver plated neck wires, and vary in price, from $69 to $149.

I also continue to love making hollow beads. I’ve explored new shapes (facets & organics). The new shapes, and bubbles in new colors, are popping up in short and long necklaces. Jim is putting them into his special sterling silver creations as well.

What else? I’m enjoying sawing and hammering metal, so some of my glass beads are now keeping company with copper and bronze, not just other glass.

Look for all this and more in Ruidoso. If I won’t see you there, remember you can e-mail me (beads at Lynfoley dot com) with color choices and ideas for custom creations. I’ll be glad to send you photos if I have not posted onto my web site yet.

Stay cool!
